Referrals

The best roofing lead is a neighbor who watched us work.

How the referral program works, what qualifies, and what does not change for the person you send us.

Why referrals matter more in this trade than in most

A roof is invisible for twenty years. Almost nobody can evaluate the one thing that decides whether it lasts.

Most purchases reveal themselves quickly. A roof does not. The details that decide whether it reaches twenty years, flashing at walls and chimneys, nailing pattern, valley construction, attic ventilation, are covered up on the last day of the job and not seen again until something goes wrong. From the street, a good roof and a bad roof look identical for the first decade.

That is why online reviews carry less information here than they do almost anywhere else. A five-star review written the week a roof is finished tells you the crew was polite and the driveway was clean. It cannot tell you whether the step flashing was replaced or painted over.

A neighbor is different. Someone who watched the tear-off, saw whether the deck was inspected, noticed whether the crew was on site at seven or at noon, and has now lived under the finished roof through a few hail seasons knows something a review cannot convey. That is the only form of evidence in this trade that gets more reliable with time, and it is why we would rather earn the next job on a street than buy it.

How it works

Four steps, and the only one that needs anything from you is the first.

  1. 1. Introduce us first

Send us the name and the best way to reach them before they book, or have them mention you when they get in touch. That introduction is what ties the referral to you.

  2. 2. They get a free inspection

Same inspection everyone gets: a walk of the roof, photographs, and a written assessment of condition and remaining service life. No obligation and no pressure.

  3. 3. They decide, on their own timeline

If the roof needs work, they get a written scope and a price. If it does not, they get told that instead. Referral or not, the answer does not change.

  4. 4. The reward is issued

Atrium pays a reward on referrals that turn into completed projects. We confirm the reward with you when you submit the referral, so you know the terms before your neighbor books anything.

What does not change

The person you refer gets the same inspection and the same answer as anyone else.

A referral changes nothing about how we handle the house. The person you send us gets the same free inspection, the same photographs, the same written assessment, and the same price they would have gotten if they had found us through a search.

Including the answer nobody expects from a roofing company: that they do not need a roof. We say that regularly, and a referral reward on the table does not make us say it less. If the honest recommendation for their house is a repair, or nothing at all for another five years, that is the recommendation, because you have to keep living next door to them, and so do we.

How the reward is confirmed

We go over it with you when the referral comes in, before your neighbor books.

Reward details are confirmed at the point the referral is submitted, so what you are told applies to that job rather than to a policy printed months earlier. Send the referral through our contact page or call (210) 807-6767, tell us who to reach and how, and we will walk you through the reward and the timing on that call.

Referral FAQs

Past customers are the obvious case, but neighbors, friends, and people who simply watched a job go up on their street are welcome to refer as well. Tell us who to call and we will confirm the reward details with you when the referral comes in.

We confirm the reward with you directly when you submit the referral, so the terms you are told are the terms that apply to that specific job. Call us or send the referral through the contact form and we will spell it out before anything is booked.

A referral reward is tied to a completed project rather than to an inspection or a quote, since an inspection is free and carries no obligation either way. We confirm the timing with you when the referral is submitted.

Yes. Tell us about the referral before your neighbor schedules, or have them mention your name when they get in touch. That is what ties the introduction to you, and it is the one step that matters on your end.

They get what every homeowner gets from us: a free inspection, a written assessment of the roof's actual condition, and a straight answer, including being told they do not need a roof if they do not.

Nothing happens, and that is by design. We are not going to pressure someone into a roof so a referral pays out. If the honest answer for their house is to wait three years, that is the answer they will get, and we would rather have the relationship than the job.
Know someone with a roof worth a second opinion?

Send them our way. They get a free engineer-led inspection and a straight answer, whatever that answer turns out to be.
